Here are a few reminders to help the club have another successful skating year.

Fundraising opportunities – Watch for information about the following fundraisers – Tupperware, Epicure, Purdy’s, Avon, and the snack/water/skate guard sale in the office.

Looking for new skates? Hoping to sell skates? The Skate Office will continue to have a skate swap.
For Safety Reasons, parents are asked to remain at the rink with their skaters. A reminder to parents that the best place to watch their children is from the stands. Parents are asked to refrain from standing in the penalty box or coming onto the ice with shoes on. Thank-you

Available Positions – The Cheam skating club is looking for members to help out with (1)Ice and Facilities and (2)Public Relations. Please contact a member of the board if you are interested in being involved with the club.
Our leadership group welcomes skaters who are 12 years old and up to be involved in team-building activities, assisting with special events and fundraising to represent our club in other regions. Join us for fun and opportunities. See Brittany or the office for further information.
Mark your calendar for March 7-8 when Cheam Skating Club will be showcasing all of our skaters. We are looking for parents at all levels who are interested in helping to plan this special event. The first meeting is Thursday, November 1st at 7:00 in Twin Rinks Meeting Room. All parents are welcome to get involved.
